  1. i agree that it is an excellent opportunity for the community, but i also think that it is unfortunate that the city of brandon was not willing to take it on to provide jobs and opportunities for us as well. kudos to them when they make it a success.

  2. Did the first nations do thier reseach? The Bear Claw Casino in Saskatchewan was a huge success in the 90's when it first opened and made big promises for it's future. Today the casino's hotel is rundown and on the verge of closure, and the casino is not as busy as it once was. Will this new casino have the same fate or will it overcome the barriers.

  3. I have heard the Spirit Sands casino will be getting funding from a Minnestoa band that already has 3 successful casinos, so I belive that if trouble arose that they would have the resources and right people to guide it in the right direction.
