  1. Nathan Grills has some really good arguements on why canadian citizens, under the age of 18, should be granted the right to vote.

  2. I heard about this on the radio this morning. I think many arguements can be made for this change and against it (as we demostrated in class). Speaking for myself i know at the age of 16 I was no where near ready to vote or knowledgable of politics. However if someone is interested in voting at 16 I feel they should at least be given the option. Those who chose not to will choose not to, such as any age group does.

  3. I don't believe that as Candians that we should have to take a test to vote. I think this will limit more and more people from voting. If we had to take a test like immagrants to vote I think the number of people voting will drop and it will have a negative impact on elections.

  4. I think that the voting age could be changed and it wouldn't be for the worst in anyway. Lots of people do not vote so if there are people who have jobs and it impacts them as much as it would anyone else. I think that it would give 16 yearolds that wanted to vote a chance to make a choice. I also think that if it was lowered to 16 then schools would have more talk about it and more people would be interested in politics.
